- -School is Back in Session !- -

Well, The kids are back in school and so far so good. All of the kids are driving into to their homework and the staff here at the center are managing the masses well.

If we can ever get the bus schedule figured out for one student we will be rocking.

Below is pic. from August 18th when we got to take all the kids to Sports Athority for a new pair of shoes! The kid's donated their extra money so Mr. Jon and Mr. Ike could get a pair of shoes as well. What an awesome day!

Yellowstone National Park

- - HOME AGAIN - -
(Yellowstone National Park)

We are back (08/17/09) and the trip was great!

I think that the 5 middle school kids grew up a little on the trip and they are able to dream bigger dreams because of it.

After the hike to
Inspiration Point we enjoyed a nice dip in the waters of hidden falls.

If I remember correctly Carina was able to hold her head in the Icy water for a impressive 21 sec. She beat my time by 4 sec.

Wow, I never new how much Yellowstone felt like home until that smell hit me at the West Thumb, our first stop. The rotten egg smell of the geyser brought a tear to my eye as the memories of the past went racing through my head;

early morning sun rises, grizzly sighting, road trips, fly fishing the Fire Hole river, etc....

And to think that I got to share this with some of my favorite kids!

An amazing trip with some amazing people!
